Post TFS Street Heat or Track Heat?

Not taking looks into consideration (they look the same anyways, right?) which one would be better for my combo? What do each flow out of the box? I plan on doing a little port work before I put it on, but I am just curious what they can do right off the shelf. Thanks in advance..

Question

What is the intake advertised duration, and the operating RPM on the cam? Also how long and large (cross section) is the intake runner of the head?

Dude, why do you want to switch from the ported Saleen....is it the Saleen/Vortech, or the SaleenSSC? If it is the Saleen/Vortech, it flows about as good or better than as any other Intake out there. But if you want more low end power, go with the TFS Street Heat. That one flows about 250 cfm. The next step up is the Track heat(you will gain more low end than your ported saleen, but lose more than the Street Heat) they flow about 265-270 cfm. But if you want to force induction anytime soon, keep the Saleen.

I used to have the tfs track heat, it is an ok intake but the throttle bracket has to be cut to make it fit and I think you would be happier with a holley intake or something else.

they look different, the track heat has shorter runners on the upper.

SaleenGTS - I want to get rid of my ported Saleen intake because I am borrowing it until I can find a good intake for my setup. I had the Edelbrock Performer, but it wasn't allowing my car to breath well enough on top end, so I am looking for something with a little more HP potential. I picked up 12HP across the power band by switching intakes. I am leaning more towards the Street Heat. I think it will serve my torque needs as well as HP needs better than the Track Heat will. And, if I ever need more flow, I can always port it more.

Save your money!!! Get a Cobra intake and port the thing!! Or get a GT-40, they have alot more potential than the other two!! Seriously, get the Cobra, you'll be alot happier.

I forgot to mention that I am running a Cartech Box upper and a truck lower on the 89GT. It has good power on the top end, but it takes way too long for it to come on. I am looking to trade it for a GT40 of a Cobra intake. Ok, I'm done ranting now.
