Thinking about going back to efi?

I am tired of fouling plugs and not knowing how to tune the carb, or having for it to warm up in the morning.

What does everyone suggest for the parts I should get if I do go back to efi (Intake, injectors, maf, Fuel system, and throttle body).
O-yea, and computer!

I have a 347 stroker and ported canfield heads. My current combo is in my sig.

What do you recommend? Stay with carb or go back to efi?

I personally like EFI better than carbs.

Intake = TFS Track Heat
Injectors = Ford Motorsport 30lb/hr
MAF = C&L 76mm or Pro M 77.
Throttle Body = 70mm T/B
Compter = A9M

The throttle body and MAF could be a little bigger, but I think they'd both handle more hp than what you've got right now with 109mph traps.

Hey unit, The 109 traps were with my 302 and since then I have a 347 and have had my canfield heads race ported. I also have a vic jr and a 750 dp now.

Your car will definatly slow down by slapping on EFI. Why dont you get someone to tune your carb right? Its alot cheaper than Efi pieces.

I have just become tired of messing with the carb. I will get it tuned first but if it still gives me problems I think I will go back to efi. Just want to get some options and opinions.

Holley Systemax or TFS R, or Victor depending on how high you spin it.

36-38 psi injectors

76mm if $$$ is a issue, if not go larger

75mm TB

get a A9L or A9M and a tuner, PMS, EEC TUNER, TwEECer..etc

I persoanlly like the benifits of EFI, I hated adjusting the carb on my 289 67 coupe, what a PIA, if the weather changes the EFI will adapt unlike a carb. What compression is the 347 with those Canfields?

How high do you plan to rev the 347, I was just checking out your users ride. Nice car, nice launch in that 2nd pic http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/wink.gif also. Are you going to run the NOS on the 347?

I want to go no higher than 6000 to 6500 rpm's and yes I do plan to run the N20. I will run a 150 or a 175 when I get it tuned and running right.
I want to go no faster than low 10's so if it goes faster than that, I will step the NOS down some.
I am using the stock block and don't want to blow it up so if I keep the rpm's with in reason I should be able to keep it around for a while.

Thanks, the launch was off the nos. I never did get it tuned and was afraid to run it on the nos.
