Luckily you'rs was just bolt. I was told mine's a bent valve after the motor was opened up.

The heads have to be sent to a machine shop. What things would cause a valve to bend?

Also, since the motor is open, what else would anyone else recommend doing as far as mods or anything else. New valve springs, cam, etc?
