ok. i have an 89 so it might be different. it looks to me like you have to loosen the nut on the tie rod part with the threads. then pull the tie rod end off the spindle and spin it to move it in or out? does this sound right?

I did loosen the jam nut on the end of the tierod and remove the tierod from the spindle.I put a pair of visegrips on the inner tie rod to hold it while I try to turn the outter tierod.I cant get the outter tierod to move.maby there is a tool I need Im not sure.I dont think that It should be so hard to turn it.I think its froze up.
