Default Tilt wheel ONLY in 89's?!...is this true?

Like the subject says.....Are the 89 Stangs the only year that came with tilt steering wheel?!! If so, I am definately going to need to buy an 89 or get a steering column out of an 89.

If you're talking the later fox body styles, they all have it from 1987-1989. When the airbags went in, the tilt wheel went away.

Lightbulb Tilt steering wheels

The tilt wheel was an option on the early Mustang GT's (1982- 83) and became standard GT equipment in '84.
