				 | Timing I have my timing set to 15 degrees right now, and run 87 octane with out any pinging. I also have a Superchip(actual brand is Superchip) that came with the car when I bought it used. I have heard some people say that the superchip already advances the timing, but I have no idea if it really does. I know that having the timing set high hurts your gas mileage, but I wasn't sure how much and I would have to find a timing gun to test this out. How much would your timing effect gas mileage? Im asking this because at 15MPG gas is getting expensive being a poor college student =P (sorry for long post) Scott ------------------ 1992 GT 5.0L Convertible BBK Shorties Flowmasters All Power Super Chip |
