Default timing question

I just put in my new chip and it says that at WOT, the timing will be 31*, so does this mean that if I move my base timing that my WOT timing will change or is the WOT timing going to be 31* no matter what I do? Any insight into this would help. Thanks

I am sure the chip will be at 31* total timing @WOT only if your initial timing is set at 10*which is the stock setting.

So yes if you change your base timing your total timing will also change.

I believe the chip uses what ever your initial timing is set at for a base line and then advances timing as your rpm's increase.

All chips may not be the same so you might want to check with the manufacturer of your chip. Especially if you plan on running a power adder along with your chip.
