Tire size for 15x8 Draglites?

I have a new set of 3.5" Draglites on the front with 165 tires. What is the most common tire size for the street on 15x8 Draglites with 5.5" backspacing? I don't want the tires to stick out too far out of the wheelwell. However, my car needs every bit of rubber it can get on the ground. Pics would be great.

before i switched to ET streets i ran 275-50-15 BFGs with no problems at all... i did remove the quadshocks though.. now i run 28-11.50-15s but i had to massage the inner fender a little
