Tire Size

I was looking at getting some larger tires. Right now i have 225/45's all around. I was wondering if it would be better to go bigger on the rear, like...245..and keep the 225's in the front, or should i go 245's all around? It's a daily driver/ street car. Also, what is the largest size tire i can have on the rims? They're the 16" pony rims. Thanks alot

well...

Well I can't really answer your question, but I asked the same question on these messege forums and the crowd persuaded me to go with 255's in the back BFGoodrich drag radials. Not in the front tho. Just int he back. I think i remember someone saying u can fit 275's in the rear? but u have to take off the quad shock? correct me if i'm wrong(which I probably am) You should be fine with 245's or 255's

One of my friends ran 245's and they looked "just right" on the rear pony's (not too wide, not too stock).:D

If it was 15" rims I could help you.
I run 295/50/15's on mine.
