Question OK I looked all over

And I cant find anything simular to my car I just bought it and I am wondering if it was a good deal and what I should do with it ? I found out that it is a Limited edition 20th Anniversary GT 350 with lots of mods. heres what I know about it. It has a 1987 Roller cam block with TRW forged pistons, ported and polished heads, aluminum edelbrock performer intake, 600 cfm Holley carb, MSD distributor, Crane fireball coil Crane HI-6 ignition box, shorty headers, offroad H-pipe, 2 1/2 flowmaster dual exhaust w/stainless steel tips, B&M shift kit, 3.73 rearend. The car is in pretty good shape some surface rust in a few small areas are starting to show. The interior is in good shape with a new head liner and the air conditioner was just recharged. The car has also been painted black. The car has 145,000 on it, But less than 5000 on the motor and mods. So the questions are, What is it worth? And should I put it back how it should be or just leave it and have fun with it the way it is? Check the attachment for a better picture..

Lightbulb Relative value

Book Value doesn't really exist when you're talking about a 20-year-old car of any type, but especially when it's a 'special edition' and has extensive mods, as your's does.

A dealer might offer you $2500. or so - if he would even take it - and a private party will offer/pay what HE thinks it's worth., which might be $4,000. - or $1,000.

For what it's worth: I had a restored (by me) second-generation Camaro (350/M22) with lots of mods and new parts. I put 40,000 miles on after the resto and I sold it for $1,800 when the car was 19 years old. O.K., it needed a little work, by then.

It's worth what you can get. I would hang on to it.

Have fun with it. cars are meant to be driven not collected and sit in a garage and never driven for "fear" of putting miles on it.

I wouldn't plan on keeping it for collector value. It WAS a special edition, but nothing rare, like a Shelby GT500 or something. Also, the car has also been repainted a different color ( I think they were all white with red graphics). She looks like a beautiful (and fast!!) pony...drive her and enjoy!

I agree, DRIVE IT!!! Limited edition cars are nice, & I love mine, but cars should be enjoyed by driving them as much as you can! I wouldn't have 105K+ miles on mine if I felt otherwise! Later!
