tire size on turbines
I need new rubber for my stock turbines in my 90 GT, I believe they are 15x7, now whats the largest tire i can run in the front without rubbing or sticking out? Same question for the rear. From what I read 245/60's fit all around and maybe even 265/60's in the back. Whats the largest tire I can run in the rear w/ turbines without rolling or modifying anything?

255's is as wide as you can go with out rubbing.

I dunno about the front cause I always just run 225's in the front.
I do know though that 255 BF Goodrich Drag Radials barely fit and I mean barely. |
Well since you said the 255's BARELY fit, I'm thinkin bout gettin 245's for the back and stickin w/ stock 225's up front. Any other opinions? Will I rub or be able to turn fully w/ 245's up front?

You can run 245's on all 4 corners with no problems

26X11.5X15 ET streets will not rub as they are not really 11.5 inches wide. Like I said 255' BFG DR's barely fit, the only way you can run 275 BFG DR's is if you get rims with different back spacing. Later, |
Would 245's on turbines rub up front with a set of FMS B or C springs?

Hey Dark_5.0, are your 255 BFG DR's 16 inch? When I bought mine a couple of weeks ago I could only find 235 and 275 in 15 inch. I went with the 235, but would have loved a 255.
Just wondering... |
