VSS Questions...
Does the VSS in a 1992 5spd do anything OTHER than 1) Support Cruise Control and 2) Tell the IAB/computer whether the car is moving or not.
I am curious because I am replacing my rear gears with 4.10's, and getting an inline speedo calibration box to correct my speedo. But my 19 tooth driven gear will still be spinning about 25% faster. Will this do anything to my computer/drivability? I am guessing my car will think I am going 95 when I am really only going 70 - but I don't see how that would matter... Thanks! BOB
