i was up late last night and saw a tv show on this thing called the tornado. it fits in your intake and circulates air like a tornado does this thing really work. i was just wondering

No, at least not on an injected 5.0 the air has to travel a long distance and take many turns and gets divided in the intake, there is no way a swirling motion would make it into the combustion chamber. its not worth anwhere nearwhat they claim it is. You might get 2 horsepower outta it. Your intake is swirled the same way the tornado is so your really already have a swirl effect going on. Its really just a big waste of money.
