Default FMS W/C rebuild kit, parts included?

my 3rd gears broke (thanks nick )....

anyway, does the FMS rebuild kit that summit and jegs sell include the acutal 2nd and 3rd gears?

i got the kit in today, but since ive never seen the inside of a transmission, I don't know what to look at to make sure it has the acutal gear, since thats whats broken? anyone know if it includes it? or can someone post up a picture so i know what to look for?

if not, how much more should i expect to spend?

thanks

if you've never seen the inside of the transmission then how do you know that it is the actual gear that is broken?

anyways, I got the kit from D&D and I am assuming this is the same kit. 94 pieces right? If it is then no the kit does not include the gears. I had to buy the reverse slider gear and the reverse idler gearfor mine. They were $99 and $39 respectively and I would assume that the second and third gears would be more as they are helical gears (reverse is plain spur gears) If there is alot of damage pehaps look into the super alloy gearset. It is $299 or $449 for the 2.95 ratio first gear. This would make it like the T-5 Z spec.

Once you know exactly what you need give Hanlon motorsports or D&D performance a call. Even if you don't order from them they will be very helpful and give you an idea of what it is going to cost
