Eric-THANKS, maybe I'll make it down and do some racing, I am not sure if I will have the rear done yet but that event sounds like fun.

OK, just to try to make myself NOT look like an idiot, I am going to try to justify my statement on the 300-310 rwhp. And definately not to take anything away from Rick....hell even 290 rwhp is awesome, 300+ is totally awesome Ok, PLEASE correct me if I am wrong. My old car ran a best trap of 112. When it ran that it dynoed 324 rwhp. I weighed 3380 with me. It ran around 109-110 with a dyno number of 298, before a cam/MAF/computer swap that got me up to 324. Now to try to make myself make sense.

Now, you have car A that has 320 rwhp and weighs 3300. He runs 112 traps.

Car B has 300 rwhp and weighs 3100, and also runs 112. Does that hold water? That is all I was gettin at, but then again I may be WAY off, it has been known to happen sometimes.

Again, congrats on the beast rick...I'd be scared to pull up next to you

Dustin- buddy you don't look like a idiot and I never took any of the comments that way. The reason I believe my mph is down is due to the 3:73 gears. They are not working great with my combo as I am only going through the traps at 5200 and my cam pulls through 6500, I shift at 6200 so I have 1000rpm that is not usable right now. The 4:30 gears will also help me on the 60ft times and I hope to get sub 1.50 short times which will greatly effect my ET. My goal is 11.50's-11.60's and @ 117 mph with this combo, and that was a goal I set out on from the get go, after a dyno tune I may find more power and mph but the gears will be the biggest factor and I will not go to the dyno until the 4:30's are in the car. These runs were the first ever and it was in 80+ degree heat so cooler temps can only mean better et's hopefully.

Dustin if we were lined up at the light, you know you would go just to find out what the GT had hell I should be the one scared of the blower whine....

Dustin - That's cool, man. I understand what you are saying. I was just trying to add some comparison numbers to the mix. Each car, driver, track conditions, elevation, barometric pressure, etc. all add up to different ET's and MPH's. To be honest with you, I think that my 3.55 gears are holding my mph back - 106 in 4th gear, is not ideal (at least I don't think so?).

It's nice to see other dyno #'s, ET's and MPH's here so that I can try to see what I am doing wrong or right with my Stang - or just see if I'm in the ballpark.

Take care,
E

PS - Rick, the Buckeye Fun Ford Weekend is a great event. I have been the last 4 years now and each year it seems to get bigger and better. I usually just drive up on Saturday to watch all the true-street guys do the 30 mile road course and then blast down the quarter mile 3 times without lifting the hood! Last year, Lee Howie from the Columbus area won with a 8.9xx average!

Hope to see you and other fellow Mustangworks members there!

With that weight of 3174 and your speed of 112.4 that calculates to 348 rwhp.
