Track times from Saturday
Well I am not totally happy with my times but I'm not mad either. I know there is more in it with some suspension tuning and tuning the motor some more. I think I was just trying too hard to get into the 12's. I couldn't make one clean pass. If it spun in 1st it would bog in 2nd and if I got descent hook in 1st it would spin hard in 2nd and point towards the wall. But here is my best run of the day. I left early because my car was making a horrible noise and started to act up in the clutch area. Maybe next weekend I can do better. The noise was the e-brake cable came loose and was hitting off the tire into the floor board. Sounds stupid but in the car it sounded like the torque boxes were splitting apart or something.
13.40 @ 111.6 2.34 60ft

Nice!!!! With that mph you are good for a 12 flat....with a 1.6 or 1.7 60ft you could run some great times.
GOT SLICKS???

Nice trap speed.......you definitely have a low-mid 12 second stang. DR's or slicks will do.

Good lord 111mph wow that thing must been cooking on the big end? Way to go CH,maybe one of these days I will link up with you guys at C-bad,not a bad track, definitely not a good track, but it serves a purpose if more of these guys would get off the street and go there anyway enough of the soapbox, how much does that thing weigh? You know there is a sweet analyzer on the web page that will help figure out how much power you are making, anyway like you said you should not be mad and way to lift to race another day

Yeah, that was on nitto drag radials. I still couldn't get it to hook very well. I think I am just expecting too much from them. Next time I won't try to drive like I have slicks on it. If it wasn't making those noises I would have made another pass or two. I am sure that there is a bit more in it, the tune is on the rich side that's for sure. And I basically have to learn to drive my car all over again. On my last pass of the day I got a 2.0 60ft and on the 1-2 shift it ripped the tires loose and got hairy so I let off. If it would have hooked that would have been an awesome run.

I don't think I will be able to make it to the track for at least two weeks, I am having to work the next two Saturdays. I have been wanting to actually meet a couple of you guys there though. Maybe next Saturday the 22nd. But quite possibly for sure the 29th. We will have to try to get something together. A friend of mine is going out on deployment and he said he will give me his nitrous kit. That might put a little pep in my ponys step. First things first though, I gotta get her running right first. I would like to see a few more mph and some 12's on DR's.
