Redline or Mobil 1 synthetic ATF will work fine.

Has anyone ever tried the Torco MTF (it's a fully synthetic ATF but supposedly designed specifically for T5's)? I talked to a Torco rep at on of these tables at an NMRA event, and he was telling me that ATF is not good enough lubrication for a T5. He said it was designed to lube an automatic transmission not a manual. SO he was pretty much just trying to sell his stuff, but it made me wonder how good that MTF stuff was.

Anyone ever use it?

Ford recommendation for the T-5 is ATF, so I am guessing there are enough lubricants in the fluid for the transmission.

Working in OEM power steering systems, they are very careful about fluid recommendations.

Like I said, he probably was just trying to sell his product. I was just wondering if anyone tried it before and noticed any better performace.
