tranny problem need Help!!

some plez help me!! i took the t5 out of my 88 cobra to put in a new and faster 5.0 worked great when i took it out but now after replaceing the quadrent and checking things over and over it will not shift. its almost like the clutch is not compressing all the way but i have ran out of ideas.
plez HELP ME I NEED IT!!!

did the cable slip off the quadrant? try adjusting it more.

is there any pressure on the pedal or does it just go to the floor with no effort?
