![]() The calipers fit fine but neither the stock 5.0, or the Lincoln Mark VII brake hoses fit. What am I supposed to do. Which hoses to use? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

![]() Sorry to take so long in answering. I used 87 calipers and I', figuring they're the same as 88. I used the stock brake lines on the 89 GT. There was a little bit of difference in how they bolted on but not enough to cause it not to fit. I was told that Russell makes braided lines that will fit but they are kind of esspensive. If you can take yours to a parts house and see if the 89 GT lines are different from yours, after that I am not knowing why they won't work.

![]() The stock 5.0 brake hoses atach at the top of the 5.0 caliper, but the Lincoln caliper's mounting point is on the bottom, so it's impossible to fit the 5.0 or the Lincoln hoses when the bleed screw is on the top. Maybe I got the wrog calipers, but they fit perfectly. I'm really confused.

![]() I just put them on a few weeks ago and had no problems. I asked for 91 Lincoln Mark VII and that I wanted the ones with the steel pistons. Certain years they are all probably the same. Does your hoses have the banjo type fitting, like a bolt with a hole drilled in it and uses two copper washers. The hose has like a square block with a hole thru the center of it. The Rayloc #'s are 42-4025 left, 42-4024 right. The Bendix #'s are R55247S left, R55246S right. Is it possible you got them crossed, right side one on the left and vice versa.

![]() The calipers you got, where is the bleeder screw? At the top, or the bottom of the caliper?
