Angry transmission shop

bought my 89 lx in febuary 04 all stock. first thing i did was put on some cobra R's. ran fine until about a month ago when you had to ride the clutch in reverse so it didnt pop out. about two weeks ago i take it to the transmission shop. they put in a new transmission (clutch to) it fell out of second so they took that out and put in another T-5. i get it home after $2300 and you cant hardly shift unless clutch is to the floor. it was hard to shift before to, i thaugt it was the transmission. could it be the stock shifter? 113,000 miles if it is whats a good shifter to put in it? every day driver/weekend worrior.
