Post Tremec to AOD

Anyone have any comments on a conversion from stick to automatic? I like the lower et's but I need a different valve body. The 1st to 2nd to 1st boogie is gettin me down. Also the Megashifter sticks out of the console like some kinda alien!!

well actually you want to go from AOD to stick right...
Good choice..w/ the increased 1st and 2nd gears, you should shave off about 1/2 to 3/4 second in your ET.

I though most all the Lentech valve bodies made for a normal 123/(4th electricly) shift pattern. Mine does anyway. Why do you have a mega-shifter when the Hammer is designed for the Mustang console?

I say, keep the aod and get a higher stall converter and a better shifter if you don't like the one you have. And check with Lentech to see what is up with your valvebody.
