is tremec tko compatable with any bellhousing

i have a 94 GT with a tremec and scatterproof bellhousing. i want to go to an aluminum setup. anyone know if the tremec will fit any particular bellhousing or do i need a special one from a tremec dealer?

94/95 T-5 bellhousing will not work.Make sure it's a tremec specific bellhousing and use the long clutch release fork, availible at your local Ford dealership,or elsewhere on the internet. The 94/95 T-5 bellhousing is 5/8's of on inch longer than tremec and all T-5's from 1987 to 1993.94/95 being the odd ball. The bolt pattern is different than tremec and if you have already installed a tremec, you probably noticed your drive shaft don't go in as far in the trans output shaft as it used to.A spacer was my fix on that.Hope this helps.

What I used was a Mcloud scatterproof bellhousing, tremec tko, aluminum driveshaft with the correct spline. But I am a little curious on the shift fork. I used the stock one and it seems to make the pedal a little more stiff at the end of the travel. I thought this was the shift fork that I was suppose to use. Is there another one?

why would you want to lose the scatter shield and go aluminum???

the weight diffrence doesnt make up for the safety.

Its because all I do is drive it on the street and I dont take it on a track. I will probably leave it in.
