				 |  Tremek tko 500 or 600 i am just wondering what would be the best setup for me. im putting a dss 347 motor in my car over the winter and later in the summer put a hellion turbo kit on it. which tranny would be the best suit for this. im also goin to run 373 gears and want to know which has the better over drive gear. thanks in advance

				 |  Re: Tremek tko 500 or 600 I have a TKO-600 as I was building a motor with lots of torque so the 2.87 1st gear would work just fine with my 3.73's.  Since you are building a turbo car and since turbos love to be loaded up, I'd suggest the 600 for you as well.  The .64 overdrive will also drop the RPMs a bit on the highway as well.  Another option you might want to look at is the Viper-spec T56, it's a smoother shifting tranny than the TKO-600 and can handle big power as well and that 0.50 6th gear would work wonders at freeway speeds.
