Problem shifting
I am having trouble on the upshift from 1-2 and 2-3. It seems to "catch" when I shift from normal driving. Will I need to replace the clutch quadrant, quadrant and cable, shifter, or all of the above? My car has 143,xxx miles so I thought it would be best to replace the cable as well.
What is the purpose of the firewall adjuster? Will I need one for mostly daily duty with an occasional romp at the track? Also, are there any shifters out there anyone is NOT happy with? I was thinking of purchasing the MAC shifter as I am on a very tight budget. Thanks. |
