Exclamation A-Trim question!

I have done some reasearch in the posts about adding a supercharger to a speed density car. I came to the conclusion that a A-Trim @ 6psi could be ran on SD. But the problem is that the MAP sensor can only read vaccum. Now what is the way around that? The fmu included in the kit will manage to supply more fuel? But I have also been told that the max injector size on SD is #19. Should I expect major problems? I have read that idle might be a problem? I dont care if its sloppy or if it goes up and down all the time. But does "idle problems" mean that the car will keep on stalling? I remember someone saying is car was "surging" when he stepped on it; what does that mean?

Thanks,

Nik

Try and get in touch with yan88GT he had an A-trim on a speed density car. There is some kind of check valve you have to install it can be done but its tricky.

the FMU adjusts fuel pressure when the boost comes on, regulating it at normal levels during normal operation and increases it alot more as you get into boost.

You shouldn't have any problems running 19# injectors with FMU.I've been runnin a FMU with 19# injectors for at least 3 yrs with no problems, granted I do have mass-air.

"surging" means the idle will raise and lower while sitting at idle,my car did it when the blower was installed. On some cars it's never a problem, you just gotta fine tune things alil bit.You can't expect to slap on 60-100hp without doin alil tuning.

Also when I bought my Paxton kit,it was designed to run with speed density, but I had already bought a mass-air conversion so I installed it with the blower.
