Exclamation Tuning my car in - Need help

After getting the car back together I am having a few idling problems. The car wants to hesitate a bit when you first step on the gas and it dies sometimes at the lights. I adjusted the idle up the best I could get it but it's kinda surging a bit when I first start it up. I know it's not the 10 pin connectors or the EGR because these were fine when I reinstalled them.

What is the process for tuning the car back in? Do you do the timing, then the idle screw, then TPS or which order should I do this in? Is there anything else I should check?

Also, I'm getting a check engine light now when I let the gas up a bit while cruising down the road. Any ideas without the code?

Thanks.

I am in the same boat as you. Mine surges when I start it, and it hesitates at WOT. I adjusted the TPS, then the fuel pressure and it made a night and day difference. Not sure, but I heard with 24# injectors Fp should be about 36 unhooked...sound right?

I was told I didn't need an FPR with my setup, but I probably do. That's all I need though... one more thing to adjust lol.

I followed the article on the Corral about resetting the idle and it runs great now. No more surge.
