Turn signal are not working.

Hello people.

After messing under the steering column and dimmer switch during a wiring, I ended up killing my turn signals (I think). I was trying to run new wires through the firewall to hook up my AMP.
The fuses are not blown. And there was no physical or internal damage in any of the electric units.

any ideas? maybe i disconnected something accidently. anyone?

My girlfriend just brought her's in to get the ignition recall done (switch got so bad the car wouldn't stay running unless the coil was hotwired). When she got it back the turn signals didn't work.

After some probing I unscrewed the multifunction switch and found the plastic connector for the turn signal wires had a broken clip on the inside. The supply wire from the fuse box was practically hanging out.

There was previously an alarm installed and the retaining hook was broken off so I think someone messed with it. Anyway, I plugged the connector back in, pushed all the wires in snugly, and voila! Blinkers work again.

Hope this helps,

Rich D.
