Typhoon Intake vs Edelbrock Performer RPM

I just bought a Typhoon Intake. Its on its way... I have read over and over again that the Typhoon and the RPM are virtually the same. I want to know if I can use the phenolic spacer kit for an Edelbrock Performer RPM with the Typhoon.

You should be able to... the typhoon is an exact copy of the edelbrock. Let me know what you think of it when you get it.

I want to buy the polished typhoon, just soon as I sell my cobra intake. But I heard the casting on them is not very good..?
