Upgrade computer chip???
I've heard from numerous people now, hat after this weekends install of my injectors, fuel pump, and intke, that I'm gonna start having major driveability problems and my car's actually going to slow down....unless I get an after market chip (i.e. SuperChip or Diablo etc etc). Does this sound right?

Dude I dont see how you ever hit a mid 12 with the stock injectors anyway. My stockers are choking my combo hard and its not near as extreme as yours. You dont need an off the shelf chip. Take it to a shop that does custom dyno chip burning. It will help a lot but its gonna cost around 6 bills with dyno time.

Ahhhh, no he didn't. If you read his mod list he has a TFS Intake and 30# injectors.
There is a whole, very indepth thread answering his question on the Female Power forum right now... ------------------ Dan McClain, Editor The Mustang Works Magazine 1991 Mustang GT - NOVI Supercharged 377 Stroker 1999 Ford Lightning SVT - 2000 Prototype updated by Roush [This message has been edited by Dan McClain (edited 04-20-2001).] |

The 12.5 was pre-intake/injectors/fuel pump. It was with all other mods, last season on M/T slicks. The car came fast from the factory. Stock, I ran a 13.8!

I just put in the intake/injectors/fpump this weekend......and this car ROCKS! I didn't expect this much out of these simple mods. I don't feel any problems or think I need a performance/dyno chip.....but do you think it'll help even more? Next up........blower baby!
