Upgrade to Mass Air?

I have an 88 GT, is it worth it to upgrade to mass air?

That depends what you wanna do with it. If your gonna drop in a huge engine and make it a drag only car, I would suggest you stay w/ the carb. They normally make a few more horses than EFI on the same engine. If your driving it everyday and are looking to eek out a few more mpg then maybe. Whats wrong with the carb setup right now? why don't u just wanna leave it as is?

It's not a carb now, its speed density

r u going to do a cam? Heads intake???? well tell me what ur looking to do. In general a stock sd car will go faster then a mass air car in the quater. I was running all the stuff in my sig, with sd till i upgraded the injectors

in all honesty stay speed denisty until it wont idle anymore then it is time to swap.... when u ask what do u mean about idle anymore when the surges jump up and down then eventually shut the car off. But with sd dont let anyone tell u that u can not run cam heads and intake, just be sure when u do it use a 65mm tb it is alot more sd friendly the trick with sd is fuel pressure and timing.... ask 88work car he is in the low 12's with a sd car
