Lightbulb New way to o-ring groove aluminum heads

I wanted to raise my compresion in my 351w and yous nitorus and wanted to use a .021 thick copper head gasket made by s.c.e, since felpros o-ring grove gaskets are .041 thick. So i made a program at home off my cad program then set up the heads on my c.n.c machine at work and cut the groove in the head in the circular position to the block just outside the diameter of the bore. The end mill i used to cut the groove was .032 diameter. I went .024 deep in the heads. For the o-ring i used moroso's saftey wire witch is stanless steel ond .032 thick part # 62280. This left .008 patruding from the head when the wire was tapped in place in the groove. This job turned out great. and now feel comfident enough to run very high compresion with nitrous with out blowing gaskets that are only .021 thick. If anyone were to need to do this type of thing let me Know and would be glad to help somone out i have pics of the head in the process of it if you would like to see them let me know. These were victor jr heads milled to 56cc combustion chambers but this prosses could work on any aluminum head. This sport is so fun i just cant get enough of it.
