Default Fuel Filler Leak HELP!! HURRY!!

My 94 stang is leaking fuel from the gas tank filler neck where the neck connects to the gas tank itself. How can i stop the leak and since my car is a gt it has 2 tailpipes for the exhaust will my car expolde while driving? it is a drip kind of leak and it leaks down on to the edge of the gas tank and down onto the ground it doesn't seem to leak on my exhaust pipe...???? Can ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE??!

Walmart sells a stick of puddy that you can put around the leak to seal the tank short term. Its in the automotive section. We use a similar product on wrecked cars at the fire department I work at. At least it will fix the tank in the mean time. Your car won't explode, but if a lot of vapors build up, say if its in a grarage overnite, it could be dangerious.

you need to remove the filler neck and replace the rubber grommet that the neck goes into on the tank.
