Post Valve Spring Options

I've been working on a friend's 98 4.6 for the past few months, and we've gotten ourselves into a sticky situation. It's blown, has head work done, cams, and computer work to make sure the timing, fuel etc. are safe. The cam lift (I'm a little foggy on the exact #'s) on the intake is around 550, and 510 on exhaust. Apparently, he purchased a set of springs from the ONLY aftermarket manufacturer that makes them for his application right now. The #7 cylinder just dropped this weekend, so I figured "piston for sure." But it turned out to be a broken intake valve spring on 7. What's the chances!!? Anyway, I'm just looking for spring options if anybody has any ideas.

Thanks,
Scott

Could it have become coilbound? .550 isn't much lift in some engines but I am not knowing about mod motors.
