Post Update broken valve spring.

For those how have followed and helped with me dump questions thank you.

Will I got my new spring and installed it. Old one broke in two places. I was checking over all the other springs and noticed that on the driver side two exhuast seals had backed off. I called World and talking with them I have found out that I have the wrong springs for a roller cam. I have the Jr heads with 1.250 springs, they said I should be running 1.440 double springs.

Called summit and since I have over a thousand miles on the heads they would only give my a discount on the new springs, locks, retainers $277! I talked to world and they suggusted the K-motion springs and I could keep my locks and retainers?

I'm wondering if anyone has ran these springs and do they like them? KMO-K-750 good for .610 lift. Is there anything I need to be aware of? Thanks guys.

Also World has changed their valve seals to the clamp style, they don't use the umbrellas anymore. I also got a set of Crane valve seals.

I got my new springs installed today ,but ran out of time to install the rockers.

I found another broken spring on the intake side of the #8 cylinder. I also had about 8 broken pieces form the thin inside spring on a lot of them. Did I have the rockers to tight or is this because I had the wrong springs? I'm going to try and get this thing running tomorrow.

Will I didn't get it running. I installed the rockers and checked the open and closed hieght on the springs. I'm within spec's for the springs and the heads. I was reading some specs on the springs and at. 1.15 open they are at 350lbs is this to much for the cam. (E-303) My open height is 1.5. Do these numbers sound right or am I confussed?

Also I went 3/4 down on the RR's. If I had some to tight my installed height would be different right on smoe springs right?

Thanks again for the help works.

I have not tried to start it. I wanted to check my number on the springs. The only number I don't know if I did right was the bind.
I'm going to put it back together in the morning. I'm praying everything is ok.

I was reading tonight if the valves are to tight I will get a low compression reading? I think that is why my numbers were so far off.
