Default Vibration at low RPM's during acceleration...

I'm new here so before posting I thought I'd do a search on "vibration" to see what I came up with and I was surprised to see that there were a LOT of results. I did however find a post that is very much what my car is doing. (Past Thread)

There didn't seem to be any ending to the post that I found so I will explain what my car seems to be doing. By the way I just bought this car, its a 95 Mustang GT Convertible. (Click for a pic (its kind of big)).

When accelerating slowly my car seems to vibrate, or shutter, for about 200-400 rpms then stops once it shifts. While its shuttering it also seems to have a significant loss of power (although it feels more like slipping than it does the engine losing power) unless I really get on it and it down shifts.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Nick

p.s. I am taking it in this week to get the trans flushed and changed as well as the cooling system flushed, etc. But just wondered if anyone else had any other experiences with this type of "shutter".

When you do the trans flush add the an additive called"Smart Blend". The one in th ered bottle, that stuffs works good. It will help with any shuddering..

Thanks, I'll make sure I get that.

I appreciate it...
