Question Vortech SC questions and problems

Recently bought a 93 lx supercharged, and i was told by the owner that it is Vortech and is an 8lb boost model, but it was purchased before Vortech came out with the S-trim, so would that make it a B-trim?? And also i have noticed a sound coming from the right side of the engine while im driving, sometimes its more noticeable, it sounds kinda like an exhaust leak, but im not sure.. sometimes it can get pretty loud, but its only coming from the passenger side. Which i was thinking that maybe the headers were a little loose, or that the h-pipe was loose, but i cant look under the car and check right now cuz it is sitting 4 hours away... any ideas???
