Hey Bowtie, I tried the sportsman's this weekend and got decent results. I could still spin the heck out of them on the line and man could I feel them squirm before it took off but once they hooked, I was off! I only got my 60' times into the 2.00's (best was 2.001) but I no longer had to pedal all through first gear and I could just let it rip. I think my springs are too stiff though so don't get a specific rate spring.
For a lower stance and good hook use the Moroso front drag springs, they are designed to be cut to your desired ride height and store lots of energy for a good weight transfer. Then get some 4cyl. rear springs and they should sit a bit lower as well.
Oh yeah Kris, I finally hit a 13.93 @99 mph in air that corrected to 4200ft so I can't wait to see what it'll do at Mission!
