which way??
quick question which way should the waterpump pulley turn if your are looking at the front of the engine. with othe pulleys or opposite.

I am pretty sure it is reverse rotation.

Opposite of the the crank. Basically as long as you have the back side of the belt running the water pump it's the right way, no matter which way you've routed the belt. I just turned mine the opposite way to make more clearance because I'm not running the smog. Best way to visualize it is to draw a picture of the pulleys and the way you have the belt routed and then draw an arrow of the way the pulleys turn, crank goes clockwise, water pump counter clockwise.
