weird idle

ok i have a stock 91 Gt . it ha flows and a k&n cone. after my car gets hot it idles weird . do you know what it could be?

Wish I could help you out, but you need to be a little more specific as to how your car is running. Saying it idles "weird" is too broad of a description.

like a rolling idle? it goes up and down, up and down. that kind of idle? if so check for vacuum leaks, loose mas air boot. if those are ok, i would replace the idle speed motor. VERY common on ford FI's.

Yes you are right, when it gets hot it idles real rough. It actually sounds kinda cammed at times.(thats the type of idle) "its a rolling idle"But it only does this after i have drove it for awile. And if it is real hot it will almost die. Then when i get going it does fine. thanks to all that can help. i think one of the plastic vacuum hosses that goes to the EGR valve broke. Is there any way i can somehow check the Vacuum for leaks?
