looks like fun Ackbar, hope you enjoy it when you get it in.

What else are you doing other than a shortblock? Any h/c/i stuff going to happen?

oh, and it's a trap! Sorry, I couldn't resist :D

"Although the wepons systems of this Death Star are not yet operational, there is a weakness.":D

Nope, same setup, just new engine. I think 125 trap speed with 15PSI, on pump gas, should be possible:D

You hate you T-5 don't you?

Time to start taking bets on how long the poor bastard has left.

but what a great avi clip it will make if you catch it crapping out on a power shift! You could post in on this board, then take donations for a TKO...

I'd be more worried about it coming apart on a launch with slicks.

Ackbar - just curious, why not go with a stroker package a la 331 or 347?

E

Oh, and that T-5 will self destruct in 5...4...3...2...1...BOOM!!! :D

Dark_5.0 04-28-2004 11:27 AM

T5 is toast probably 2 weeks after you get all back together then its auto with a stall time. :D

Ackbar00 04-28-2004 12:01 PM

NO AUTO!!!

I went with a 306, for cost savings mainly. Figured a pound or two of boost would make up for it:D

Itll be cool, I get to race this cocky WRX owner here soon. He seems to think a gearset will save him:rolleyes: Id give you guys the links to his smack talking, but you have to register to see the post.

That's cool. I was just wondering.

With your 120+ mph trap speeds that WRX better bring some or else it aint gonna be pretty :D :D :D

The T5 can last with no slicks or powershifting. My T5 made it one season running 1224-128ish only at the end did it start to whine after a couple pretty HARD launches on DR's.

Makes me fell better, I dont plan on using the Slicks yet, mabey just to **** up this WRX's day. Hell, I plan on taking it to True Street in Norwalk, and running on street tires because I have no cage:D
