What the..????
I need help. I have a'95 GT Conv. and have had no gremlins of any kind, until now. The other day I had my air cond. on and everything was fine. The next day, I turn it on and, voila, no air. I got out and looked and indeed, the compressor was not engaged. I checked all the fuses and they were fine. I then took out the multi-meter to check for power at the compressor with the air on. There was none. I'm okay with electrical issues, but this has me stumped. Are there any fusable links or relays I'm not aware of to check? The system has a full charge of R134a and no leaks. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Mine did the same thing! It hasn't worked for 2 years, I'm stumped on it too.

There is a low pressure cutoff switch in the system near the firewall that might be the culprit. It shuts the compressor clutch down if thge system pressure is low so if it goes bad, the clutch stops.
