How many hp is a 4 bolt block good to? Any other block suggestions? Myabe something with thicker cylinder walls? Do i even need to worry about that?

Just use the stock block. The block you want is like $1000-$1500+. Anyway if your going make enough power to fug up your block, take in mind that your T-5 will FAIL alot sooner than your block will. Just a thought...

If I were you, and had the money to build a motor(unless your building it yourself)I would just order one from D.S.S. or somewhere like that. They'll put you in the 11's or 10's easy, and be really reliable.

#1 If you like getting what you ordered, don't buy from Excessive Motorsports.
#2 The R block cannot be run on the street, period. #3 Saleen GTS is not running a stock block, he's running a 4 bolt block he got at a garage sale. #4 The "Sportsman" block is a 351W block, I don't remember ever hearing about a 302 Sportsman block. The A-4 block was the predecessor to the R-4, and it CAN be run on the street. |
