First of all, get rid of that stock oil pressure gauge and get a mechanical one and then see what pressure youREALLY have.
High oil pressure can be cause by bearing clearances being too tight. Has the engine been rebuilt lately or at all?
Unless someone dumped a bottle of gear lube to hide a bearing knock.
