i just ate my clutch too, i was told the motorsport one was good, but i can't seem to find it... is it the 'RAM' one? i was also looking at the centerforce dual friction.... but hopefully we can get some input

I have the motorsport heavy duty clutch, its the next one down from the king cobra i believe.

I got it from D&D, they seem to have the best deals all around, and they are really nice and informative. Their number should be in about every mustang magazine out there.

good luck

I personally have the Centerforce dual friction and i love it so far. But mines only got about 600Mi on it so its just finished breaking in. But it seems to work good so far and it keeps the stock cluch feel. But ive also heard alot of good things about the King Cobra clutch.

I had very good luck with the centerforce dual friction. The clutch feels like stock, maybe slightly more grabby. I had no problems street driving my car for 40,000 miles and the clutch can take the abuse at the track. I use to launch at 4,500 with slicks and never had a bit of trouble. I think that clutch is worth the money. I have also heard good things about the ram series 900 clutches, I think they are a bit more of a race clutch.

I used the RAM one... http://www.dariusrudis.com/mustang/tko/

The old Motorsport clutch is cheaper than the king cobra but is stronger! The trade is a heavier pedal feel in the old unit ( which I have) So a new FMS clutch should hold longer than the King Cobra. But it sounds like you need a much beefier clutch with your 347 IMHO. Mine is like new after 25,000 miles on my pretty stock 302 but also put in a new flywheel and cable at the same time

I had very good luck/results with the Centerforce D/F setup, it was reliable with nitrous and slicks anyhow...
Good soft pedal too!!

I ordered a long style RAM setup for the Jerico DR4 I will be installing soon:D

I'll have a couple pics to post tomorrow of the tranny, along with my Danny Bee belt drive and Meziere elec. water pump...

It's hard to beat the Centerforce D/F setup...
that's what I recommend.

I'll let you guys know how I feel about the RAM setup later...

I have the Centerforce DF in mine now but think it's probably a little too hipo for my combo, I was running the stock long block until a couple months ago. It'd probably be perfect for your setup though.
