Rev limiter or VSS, what is causing this problem!!!
With 3.73s on my car and my chip tuned for them I was able to go to 6000rpms without hitting the rev limiter, no problem.
Now I have 4.10s on, my chip is still tuned for 3.73s and the car is acting like it hits a rev limiter at 5400rpms. How is this possible. Could this be a VSS problem. My speedo is off by possibly 15mph. I'm getting the speedo fixed today. This is a 94 GT Convert w/aode. You can see all my mods in the sig. Please give me some ideas cause I don't have any.
