What did I do?????
Well I bid on ebay for a new GT-40P upper and lower intake from an explorer thinking I wasn't going to win, I happened to be the only bidder for it. Will this work for me?? Do I need aftermarket heads? What did I do? Will I have to do anything special to bolt it on? I hope I didn't screw myself over. Let me know guys, thanx

Congrats on your purchase.....I have the same intake and love it it will bolt on with know additional mods. You will probably pick up about 10HP over stock.
If you have any questions or problems PM me. Later,

that's a relief! only 10hp huh?? I was hoping for a little more. I was told that I was going to have to have some stuff drilled or whatever. I wonder if Porting & Polishing the upper and lower would help a bit.

Yes you will have to tap and drill a hole in thw #5 runner for the ACT sensor. Some people also tap a hole by the #4 runner for the coolant line but I just blocked them off.
"Only 10HP" You could gain more with ported or aftermarket heads but not with the untouched E7's. I added ported and polished E7's and the intake at the same time and I could tell a huge difference. The hole you have to put in the #5 runner is a 3/8 inch pipe thread. Later,
