Question What to do to my stock 88gt to make it r w/o nosun 10-11's

I need help building up my stock 88 gt so it will run 10-11's. it needs to be a daily driver, 351, stroker, turbo, blower whatever it takes. list all parts please.

any suggestions are apprecieated

That'll have alot to do with tires, and gears, and be sure and throw some long tube headers on that list, 347 stroker can do it, canefield heads, 150 shot, maybe an x-303 cam, M/T e.t. slicks, i've seen mid 11's with a 306 (bored .30 5.0) with 4.30 grs lng tubes custom cam (t-5), i think 10 second cars are most popular seen runnin c-4 autos, and blowers.

What I'd go with and what i'd like to run eventually is a nicely built 377 or 408 with low compression and nice parts, that alone should get you into 11's with good driveability and the right parts, throw a vortech on top of that and you'd be 10's maybe 9's.... kind of like the Death Machine. If you want I can list the specifics of my dream car(hopefully my car eventually).

id go 347, ported AFR 185 heads, ported trick flow "r" intake..comp cams XE 282HR cam..1 3/4" long tubes with race magnums to dumps..4.10 gears with a built c-4 trans..good supsension and tires and there ya go..all motor 10 sec street terror

10's No prob. here. All natural power. Can't be drivin everyday though. To loud for pig's.

Hey Larry did you ever figure out/fix your problem with the car running out of umph up top?

FivepointOH,

I may have but don't know for sure yet. I do plan to take it to the dyno tomorrow and find out what the problem is or if I have a problem. I have modified the fuel rail to eliminate the restriction at the inlet.

I also upped the timing to 34 total from 30. I am thinking it is the Cobra intake or shortie headers even though both are killer ported.
