|  What exhaust systems do the trophy stock guys run? In general, what do they use? -longtubes or shorty? What diameter? -h, x, prochamber, or other? What diameter? -which mufflers? just curious. ------------------ 1989 lx notch 89,000 miles bolt-ons,stock heads/cam 60'- 2.07, 8.90@78, 13.93@99 |

| Cut and paste, there you go... Replacement "shorty" headers permitted, must flow through mufflers. Maximum primary tube O.D. is 1 5/8 inch. Maximum exhaust pipe O.D. is 2 1/2 inches. Exhaust exit must run to within six (6) inches of rear axle housing. Side exhaust prohibited. My guess is they would run custom x or h pipes... ------------------ '92 emerald coupe, no air silencer, bored stock MAF to 60mm, sub-frames welded, strut tower brace, 180 thermo, 16 deg's, K'n'N panel, bosh platniums, u.d. pullies, off road h-pipe, hurst "stir stick", fms 3.73's. otherwise, factory original. best 1/4 = 13.264@ 100.89mph with a 1.824 60 ft. on turbines with 235/60-R15 BFG DR's [This message has been edited by cleanLX (edited 08-03-2001).] |
