Post K&N Air Filter

HEY,

I am looking for another conical air filter. My homeade ram air box was made for the 9inch. Does anyone know where I can get the best deal. I am running low on cash and am having to buy a new air filter and MAF!! Sux bad. What size MAF should I buy this time? Anyone heard of boring out the stock mass air unit?? Is it worth a shot?

I think you can pick up that filter for around $30. There usted to be a company that would bore out the stock maf but I don't know if they are still in business, it can be done. I've seen where a couple of people have mentioned a 73mm for $125, thats a good deal. I ran one on my blown stock engine for a couple years.. it worked fine.

I just happen to have a 30# tube I never got to use. I'd sell it to you for $10.

thanks batson,
But I already had a extra 30#tube. Appreciate the help though. I had my stock bored fully. The walls on it are now paper thin. I didnt think the stock one could be opened up that much. I ordered the Filter out of jegs for like 31. 40 after tax. Thanks for all the help

Let me know how that thing runs with the maf bored out. If it doesn't run well I think I have my old one sitting around here somewhere.

They didn't charge you tax did they?? Ok you meant shipping, just screwing with ya.
