Post What have I done wrong?

I haven't started my engine yet. I built it 2 years ago and turned it at least once a month to prevent it from sticking. Also I put oil in the sparkplug holes.
I'm having a really hard time turning the engine, but it does turn. I thought maybe I tightened the valves to much so I took them off, it's still hard to turn.
Is it just because there is no oil pressure and has been sitting to long?
This is my first engine rebuild so I checked and double checked the clearances.
Am I doing this right or what???
